Interview with the American Sister Janice McLoughlin on her childhood, her decision to join the community oft he Maryknoll Sisters, on her life in Kenya, Tanzania and, from 1977, in Rhodesia where she worked for the Justice and Peace Commission. Documenting her observations and experiences in her diary, and her support of the liberation movement, led to Sister Janice's arrest, imprisonment, and her deportation back to the USA. After Zimbabwe gained independence, Sister Janice returned to work as education consultant in the President's Office
