Postcard depicting Big Chief White Horse Eagle signing the "The Book of Gold"; a book in memory of the fallen soldiers from World War I that was kept in the "Palais de la Legion d’Honneur" in Paris; the postcard was sent most likely by Queen Wa-Te-Na (the wife of Big Chief White Horse Eagle) to Werner Weingärtner and his wife; he worked in the Swiss consulate in Strasbourg from 1932-1940 where from 1934 till 1940 he was vice consul.
